Like if i wanted to go to harvard business school could i take the gmat every year until i get a super high score? I guess my question is how many years does a gmat score last before it is no longer valid to admissions committees? |

They are valid for 5 years. Technically, you could take it as many times as you want. I mean, it’s 200 bucks each time but hey, if you have the money and you think it’s worth it, go for it. However, there may be some top schools that ask for all your scores so that might be a draw back.
I have not taken the GMAT myself but I hear if you practice and take a good prep class, you will do well. A high GMAT is just half the battle though, as I am sure you are aware.
Good luck to you.
