Which Is The Right Time To Take Gmat?
Hi all,
I am having 3.2 years of experience(by Sep2009). I am planning to take GMAT by Nov End. I am aiming at Good/Top B-schools. Is this is the right time to take a GMAT? If not, when should i go for it?

There are two schools of thought about this:
Option 1 is to take the GMAT right at the end of undergraduate schooll while you’re still in “academic mode”.
Option 2 is to take the GMAT at the time you’re considering 3-5 years after undergraduate school.
Either option is OK. You’re at the early stage of top MBA school eligibility. Most top-tier schools (the only ones worth attending full time), require 3-10 years of progressive and promising career assignments.

GMAT Scores are accepted by most school for five years, so it makes sense to take the exam while sharp in school, but not use the GMAT score until necessary.
@PE2008—-well you said to take the GMAT right after undergraduate school. But as far as i know GMAT demands a work experience of at least 2 years. So?How can a person take it right after undergraduate school???But if things are otherwise, please let me know.Am eager to enhance my knowledge.
Now would be a good time to start preparing for it. You can go to http://www.800score.com/gmat-home.html for a full course or try a free sample online course at http://www.gmat-mba-prep.com/gmat-course
I hope this helps you in your planning.
